When QIntegrator has been installed on your computer, you will need to connect it to the QuickBooks company file you wish to work with. To do this you should ensure that:
- QuickBooks is started and the required company file is open
- You are logged in to QuickBooks with an “admin” level userid
- You are logged in to QuickBooks in single user mode
To connect QIntegrator to the current QuickBooks file do the following:
- Click Start > All Programs > QIntegrator
- Click QIntegrator
- Click the Tools menu item
- Click the Validate QuickBooks Connection menu item
- QuickBooks will activate and display the QuickBooks Application Certificate window:
- Ensure “Yes, always; allow access even if QuickBooks is not running” is selected and click the “Continue” button.
- The Access Confirmation window will appear:
- Click the “Done” button to continue.
- QIntegrator will now complete the connection test and display the QIntegrator Test Connection window.
- Click the “OK” button to close the Test Connection window.
